The LOL Grinch Tot: is there an L.O.L. Surprise Grinch doll?
The LOL Grinch is the Grinch B.B. Tot, one of four designs inside the L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss Tots ball. It isn't sold on its own.
So if you're hunting the Grinch for a stocking, you're buying a blind ball and hoping. Is there a bigger Grinch doll or a holiday wave on the way? Not that I can find. As of October 5, 2026, the Tot ball is the only Loves Dr. Seuss format I could find at Walmart and Smyths, and Argos and The Entertainer had no listing at all. The Christmas feel comes from the characters themselves, the Grinch and Cindy-Lou, not from a separate product.
The Grinch is the only Tot in the set with a flocked, fuzzy finish, like a tiny plush costume. In hand it's the figure that stands out most, and it's the one people search for by name.
The collab itself was announced in July 2026 for L.O.L. Surprise's 10th anniversary, and the Tots reached US stores in early September. I write from Spain, where this one is still on preorder, so you guys in the US and UK got it a good month ahead of us.
L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss checklist: 4 Tots, 5 characters
Cat in the Hat, the Things, the Grinch and Cindy-Lou: four results, five characters. How does that add up? Thing 1 and Thing 2 share a single result, the Q.T.s, so one ball gives you both. The official names follow the usual Tots logic, B.B. for the big sisters and Q.T. for the little ones.

No repaints here: these are new molds made for the collab. The Cat's top hat, the Things' sculpted blue hair and the Grinch's flocking don't exist in any earlier Tots series. When a collab brings new molds, collector interest jumps.

The ultra-rare Cat in the Hat Tot
Amazon, Target and Smyths all list an ultra-rare Cat in the Hat Tot. That's where the certainty ends. What does it look like? MGA hasn't shown it, nobody has published the odds, and the listings still say "Collect all 4", so we don't even know if it's a fifth result or a special version of the regular Cat. My guess is a variant of the Cat B.B., but that's a guess.
One Tot, 7 surprises in total, and a Dr. Seuss themed ball that works as a display once opened. The item measures about 3.75 x 3.75 x 3.75 in and is rated 4+. Stores sell it as an assortment, so you can't pick a character and duplicates happen.
Price and where to buy in the US and UK
| Market | Store | Price | Status (checked Oct 5, 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| US | Amazon.com | $14.99 | In stock, sold by Amazon |
| US | Target | $14.99 | Ships to home; store pickup varies |
| US | Walmart | $14.99 | Sold and shipped by Walmart.com |
| US | ToyWiz | $14.99 | In stock |
| US | MGA Shop | $14.99 | Available, listed Oct 1, 2026 |
| UK | Smyths Toys | £14.99 | In stock, ref 260250 |
| UK | Amazon.co.uk | Price not checked | In stock, same ASIN |
Same $14.99 everywhere in the US, which makes life easy. Where should you buy, then? If you're chasing one figure, a store near you beats waiting on shipping, and my bet is the Grinch balls get picked over first in December. Online, Amazon.com had it in stock with 800+ bought in the past month when I checked. Walmart's title says ages 6+, but MGA, Amazon and Smyths all say 4+.
Confirmed vs. unconfirmed
Collabs always come with noise, and a Grinch in December brings even more. What's backed by a source and what's still up in the air? Here's where things stand on October 5.

L.O.L. Surprise Dr. Seuss Tots gallery
Five scenes from MGA's official gallery, and the small details are worth a look: the fish poking out of the teapot, the Grinch's little tree, Cindy-Lou's holiday wreath. Did you notice even the backdrops are hand-drawn storybook sets? You don't see that level of production in every capsule line.

My take
I'll be honest: licensed collabs usually bore me, because so many are the same mold with new stickers. Not this one. The Grinch's flocking, the Cat's hat, the teapot with the fish, there's real care in the details. It reminds me of what the line did with the L.O.L. Loves SpongeBob Tots (in Spanish), which ended up being one of the most searched collabs of the year.
What holds me back is the blind format with only four results. Want the Grinch for a gift? You might open the Cat twice first. My advice: buy one or two balls for the fun of it, and if you need a specific figure, look for an opened one from a collector you trust instead of paying reseller prices in December. Patience is cheap in this hobby.
Quick questions
Is there an L.O.L. Surprise Grinch doll?
Yes, but not as its own product. The LOL Grinch is the Grinch B.B. Tot, one of the 4 designs in the L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss Tots ball, so you can't buy it on purpose. As of October 5, 2026 I haven't found a separate holiday Grinch wave or a bigger Grinch doll.
How many L.O.L. Surprise Dr. Seuss Tots are there?
Four designs and five characters: Cat in the Hat B.B., Thing 1 and Thing 2 Q.T.s, Grinch B.B. and Q.T. Cindy-Lou. On top of that there's an ultra-rare Cat in the Hat Tot.
Do Thing 1 and Thing 2 come together?
Yes. Thing 1 and Thing 2 are a single result, the Thing 1 and Thing 2 Q.T.s, so you get both little figures in the same ball.
What is the ultra-rare in L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss?
An ultra-rare Cat in the Hat Tot, listed by Amazon, Target and Smyths. MGA hasn't shown what it looks like or published the odds, and it isn't clear yet whether it's a fifth result or a variant of the regular Cat in the Hat B.B.
How much are the Dr. Seuss Tots and where can I buy them?
$14.99 per ball at Amazon.com, Target, Walmart, ToyWiz and the MGA Shop, all in stock when I checked on October 5, 2026. In the UK, Smyths sells it at £14.99. Each ball is blind, so duplicates are possible.
Are they new molds or repaints of older Tots?
New molds made for the collab. The Cat's striped top hat, the Things' sculpted blue hair and the Grinch's flocked fuzzy finish don't come from any earlier Tots series.
