💿 The full Mini Brands vinyl records list 🔗

Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Neil Diamond on records the size of a coin. That is the pitch of Mini Brands Really Works Vinyl, and this is the Mini Brands vinyl records list as Series 1 launched: 45 playable mini vinyls, sorted by rarity. Want to know if your dupes are worth trading? Start here.

Rarity tiers follow the two collector checklists that agree with each other (miniature.toys and the MeenyMiniMo database). ZURU itself has not printed tiers anywhere I could check. My own Mini Brands Vinyl guide with photos and weights (in Spanish) has every record pictured.

🥇 Rares, gold awards and the Playset exclusive 🔗

The gold pieces are the chase. They are display awards rather than records to spin, and they turn up as the capsule's surprise accessory, which ZURU's own copy calls the 3 ultra-rare finds. Which one would you rather pull, the mic or the record?

Then there is APT. The pink ROSÉ and Bruno Mars single only comes in the Playset box, never in a blind capsule. So if you want the biggest song of the set, you are buying the player anyway. Smart move from ZURU, a little cheeky too.

🔢 Why Target says 42, the UK says 44 and Amazon says 45 🔗

Same capsule, three different numbers on three listings. This is what each store printed on October 6, 2026:

The UK number is the easy one. A UK collector posted in September that «Messy» by Lola Young had disappeared from the collector sheet, which now reads 44 instead of 45, and Amazon.co.uk matches that 44. In Australia the sheets arrived in June with two records covered by stickers, «Messy» and Nick Jonas's «Delicious», and local collectors also report no «Sweet Caroline».

And 42? ZURU has not published the new US list. My best read: 44 blind records minus «Messy» and «Delicious» gives exactly 42. That is arithmetic, not an official checklist, so I would not trade on it yet. If you open a new capsule from Target or Walmart, the back of the sheet is the proof I am still missing.

"Three stores, three numbers. Finishing this set is half music, half accounting." Víctor, after counting the list for the third time

📦 Capsule, 2-pack, Playset or the Costco bundle 🔗

The capsule is the black Mini Brands ball you peel open: 4 blind records plus 1 accessory. The Playset is the turntable. You need the Playset to hear anything, and it plays a clip of roughly 20 to 30 seconds per record on a battery you charge over USB.

Is the Costco box the best deal? On paper, yes: $29.99 for a player and three capsules, about $20 less than buying the same thing loose. Hip2Save spotted it in warehouses in August, and on October 6 a collector on r/MiniBrands wrote that Costco is where they got hooked two weeks earlier. There is no Costco.com listing, though, so check your local warehouse before you drive.

🎯 What happened at Target 🔗

Target was the launch partner, and in June it was also where the line hit a wall. Collectors on r/MiniBrands reported that registers would not ring the capsules up, even with them on the shelf. The theory everyone landed on is the back cover of Lola Young's «Messy» record: it reprints the album tracklist, and one track title is a four-letter word. Neither ZURU nor Target ever explained it.

So no, it was never an official recall. What actually changed is the product: a new capsule listing with a new barcode and the «Collect all 42» line. I covered the June story the week it broke, in the Target pull and the Lola Young theory (in Spanish). Did a four-letter word on a coin-sized sleeve really move a retailer that size? It looks like it, but nobody signed it.

🛒 Where to buy Mini Brands vinyl in the US and UK 🔗

Amazon.com and Walmart had both formats in stock when I checked, sold by the stores themselves. Target let me add the capsule to the cart, but its bot check stopped me before the price loaded. In August Target charged $9.99 a capsule and $19.99 for the player.

🔮 Is there a Mini Brands Vinyl Series 2? 🔗

Not as of October 6, 2026. ZURU's Really Works page still shows only Series 1, and the collector wikis have nothing new either. What you can buy right now is the same Series 1 with a regional list. If you also collect MGA's turntable, I compared both lines in Mini Brands Vinyl vs Miniverse Real Music. Spoiler: the records are not compatible.
